#8  This heirloom quality serving board was a freestyle design and is one of one.  Made by hand and numbered.

This piece is made from Big Leaf Maple and has a beautiful burl that I had to showcase. It measures 24″ long x 11.5″ wide (16″ at the burl) and is 1.25″ thick.  It has some deep blue epoxy fill in the middle so while it can be used occasionally as a cutting board, the best use is as a serving board.  Each side has different characteristics and personality and you can serve from either.   Certainly unique, this board entertains all on its own.
